Fashion Highlights by Little Mix

The girl band, consisting of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jessica Nelson, won the British version of the casting show X-Factor in 2011. The four originally competed as solo artists and were put together by the judges as part of the show. After Little Mix’s victory, they immediately stormed the charts in their home country.

But as a casting band, you always have to prove yourself first, because the first single and the first album usually ride the wave of success of the show. The four managed to establish themselves in the international music industry with six studio albums and even five number-one hits in the UK. Unfortunately, the band only achieved moderate success in Germany. After more than ten years, the remaining three members, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, took a break in May 2022.

However, songs like “Black Magic“, “Shoutout To My Ex“, and “Sweet Melody” still offer real catchy tune potential and are still streamed millions of times and watched on YouTube today.

Here are six fashion highlights from the band, which I have compiled based on my personal taste. The order is completely arbitrary. They are followed by fashion highlights from the singers’ solo careers.

Fashion Highlights after Little Mix

Since the band split up in 2022, the three have wanted to work on their solo careers. Therefore, the following fashion highlights will refer to the time after the break-up. As the article is updated regularly, the highlights are presented in chronological order.

  • 2023: Leigh-Anne Pinnock x Iris van Herpen

Another fashion highlight was released on June 16, 2023 – Leigh-Anne Pinnock released her single “Don’t Say Love”. In the video, the Brit wears pieces from a wide variety of designers. Including a look from the designer Iris van Herpen.

It’s definitely one of my fashion highlights as I’m a big fan of the band, and of course Leigh-Anne, and have already worked for the designer in Amsterdam. Read here what I experienced during my internship there.

  • 2023: Leigh-Anne Pinnock x Rolling Stone Magazin

In September 2023, the singer’s cover was published in the UK edition of Rolling Stone Magazine. She gave an interview there and was also featured in an editorial alongside the cover – credits to photographer Mariano Vivanco.

  • 2024: Perrie Edwards x Rollacoaster Magazine

On April 12, Perrie released her first solo single entitled “Forget About Us”. In the Spring/Summer 2024 issue of Rollacoaster Magazine, Perrie is featured on the cover and in an editorial. The photographer was Holly Mcandless-Desmond.

  • 2025: Jade Thirlwall x Wonderland’s Magazine

In the summer of 2025, Jade released her single „Angel of My Dreams“ and debuted straight at number 7 on the UK charts, making her more successful than her two colleagues. Her album “That’s Showbiz Baby!” was also successful and achieved platinum status in the UK.

In the same year, she won a BRIT Award in the category “Best Pop Act” and was photographed by Thom Kerr for Wonderland Magazine.
